 Woodward and alcohol - 2006/10/28 10:34 When I showed up to skate Woodward last night I was taken a back when they asked to look inside my bag. When I asked what they were looking for I was told that there have been "oldschoolers" brining in booze and partying up in the back where the pool is.

I know it's no one on this board, but I'm a little pissed that some are ruining it for the rest of us.

I told the guy at Woodward that they would have to check every bag and not discriminate against guys over 30.

I can barely keep both feet on my board sober let alone wasted...

What do you guys think? Should Woodward ban all bags in the skate area or check every single bag despite the person’s age? It’s not like teens don’t drink.

Tim, what are the legal ramifications?

 Re:Woodward and alcohol - 2006/10/28 16:49 this has been going on for some time. at first they were always checking my bag then they cooled down. from what i know it is someone who skates denver a lot. personally i dont see anything wrong with them checking the bags but they actually need to check the floor a little more than they do. I could tell by his long stride that he wasn't just an ordinary man in an ape costume.

I might have some margarita mix in there but that's just to spread on the ramps to get some grip .... Come to think of it, As bad as my pads smell sometimes, I hope they check my bag.... it will probably be the last time ... .... Shred, it's probably just you... you look so rowdy, and you know how insurance guys are .... Stepping up on my soap box now.... yea it's a shame that some people have to ruin it for the rest. but, it's the way this country is getting. Dumb everything down to the lowest comon denomonator... man I think I need a spell check on this thing.... anyway. Denver was real nice today.
